The Pechstein Ruling of the OLG Munich: The beginning of the end for the Court of Arbitration for Sport?

In January a German Regional Court dropped a bomb on the world of Sports Arbitration. The Pechstein ruling of the OLG Munich is ground-breaking and deserves close attention from the part of the sports law community. This lunch and learn will be dedicated exclusively to this decision. It will provide a comprehensive synthesis of the legal reasoning of the decision and its factual background, and debate its potential legal and institutional consequences.
