Aylin is about to complete her LLM in European Law at Leiden University. She also holds a BA (Hons) Law from the University of Nottingham (UK), with a special focus on international law. Her previous professional experience includes an internship at the EU law division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and a mini pupillage in a human rights law chambers. Her Master’s thesis on the compatibility of the Investment Court System in CETA with EU law encompasses aspects of international dispute settlement as well as EU constitutional, external action and substantive rules. As the Human Rights and EU Law intern at the Asser Instituut, Aylin is working on the MELA project (Memory Laws in European and Comparative Perspectives).
