Short introduction:

I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International and European Law from the Radboud University Nijmegen. Furthermore, I attended a minor in International Relations. As part of my Master’s degree, I have studied in Lund (Sweden) where I attended classes in European Law. My thesis concerned the international responsibility for human rights violations committed during United Nations peacekeeping operations.

I also hold an LL.M. in International Law and Security from the University of Glasgow, which I successfully completed with a thesis on Security Council control over the implementation of resolutions authorising humanitarian interventions.

My special areas of interest include international humanitarian law, international human rights law and United Nations law.
