Lisa is a graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she obtained an MSc in International Relations with a focus on EU external relations and foreign policy analysis. Previously, she graduated cum laude from University College Utrecht, an honours Liberal Arts and Sciences university, having completed an interdisciplinary BA in the Social Sciences. Lisa has previous work experience at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she interned at the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bogota, Colombia. Her research interests include the multifaceted (legal, political, economic) layers of international relations, the complex role of the European Union within this framework, and the causes for change and continuity in global affairs.
