Summary

I started an internship at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut on 1 May 2015, where I work for the private international law cluster.

I studied Dutch Private law at Maastricht University. During my master I supported the small and midsize enterprise team at DAS Nederlandse Rechtsbijstand verzekeringsmaatschappij N.V. in Den Bosch. I was also part of a team that researched corporate governance for institutional investors, and my master thesis was about shareholder influence on executive remuneration from an international perspective.

After graduating I was an intern at Damsté advocaten – notarissen – fiscalisten, a midsized regional law firm in Enschede. Here I worked for the company law team. Now I am at the T.M.C. Asser Institute to adapt a more academic approach to solving legal questions. Both a future at a law firm or in academia sound appealing to me.
