Prof. Sara Poli

Sara Poli is Professor of EU law at the University of Pisa, Department of Political Science where she teaches EU law and the Law of EU external relations. She has held a Jean Monnet Chair between 2013 and 2016. She has worked for University of Rome, the University of Trieste and the University Southampton. She has carried out research with the support of the Robert Schuman fellowship, the Marie Curie fellowship, the Fulbright-Schuman fellowship and the Belgian ‘Vlac fellowship’. She has managed research projects on the EU law, funded by the University of Pisa and the Italian Ministry of University Research. She is the author of “The European Neighbourhood Policy – Values and Principles” (eds, Routledge), “EU Management of Global Emergencies” with I. Govaere (eds, Martinus Nijhoff) and “The Reform of the EU Legislation on GMOs: A Journey to an Unknown Destination?”
