Profile

Alexandra recently graduated cum laude from the University of Amsterdam LL.M., specialising in Public International Law. Her LL.M. thesis examined the legality of third-party countermeasures from a doctrinal and TWAIL perspective. Previously, she obtained a cum laude BA in European Studies, with a major in European Law and a minor in Conflict Studies. In her BA thesis, she discussed the contribution of the Court of Justice of the European Union to the development of the international law on statehood. Her main interests are critical legal methods, international responsibility and the work of international organisations.

Before joining Asser, she was a legal advisor at the Amsterdam International Law Clinic and a student mentor at UvA. After a seven-month-long internship at the Asser Institute, Alexandra started working as Project Manager Education & Events.
