Caroline is currently in the process of graduating from the LL.M with a specialization in Human Rights law from the London School of Economics. Before, they obtained the LL.B in International and European law at the Hague University of Applied Sciences where they participated in the 2020/21 ELMC competition and did an Erasmus exchange semester at the Université Catholique de Lille in France. Her interest in (European) Human Rights law reflects in her thesis topics: Their Bachelor thesis analyzed gaps left by the European Court of Human rights, whereas their Master thesis focused on the concept of human dignity with regards to LGBTQ persons. 
Previously, Caroline interned with Bird & Bird and the German Federal Foreign Office. At Asser Institute, she will intern with Dr. Eva Kassoti in the Centre of the Law of EU External Relations (CLEER).
