Profile

Lisa Roodenburg holds a PhD in international law from the University of Amsterdam (2021) on the basis of research within the Global City Project at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, funded by the Gieskes Strijbis Fonds. Her dissertation explores the role of human rights in urban debates on migration and diversity, with case studies on Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires. Lisa completed a Research Master in International Development Studies (2015) and a Bachelor in Urban Planning and Human Geography (2013), both at the University of Amsterdam.
