Naomi graduated from the Leiden University Bachelor Political Science: International Relations and Organisations, alongside the Governance and Global Affairs Honours College track. During the course of her studies, she completed the Security, Safety and Justice minor, a combined minor from Leiden University and TU Delft University focusing on (counter)terrorism, crisis management, international law, and the connections between security and technology. Prior to this internship, she worked at the Hague Peace Projects, an NGO focused on improving and increasing awareness of human rights around the world. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor Thesis on social movement dynamics, focusing on the case study of Eastern Germany. 

Her main interests are topics of human rights and security and international law.
