With regard to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are cancelling all events at the Asser Institute up to and including 1 September. We have moved our summer programmes to an online platform, and are currently working to reschedule some of the other events. We will communicate the new dates soon. Please check our website and social media platforms for updates on our events.
The Asser Institute follows the official guidelines of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will stay up to date with following their recommendations.
The Dutch government announced that all the current measures and recommendations, will be extended until 19 May. On top of that events that are subject to authorisation will be cancelled until 1 September. Authorities urge everyone to stick to the recommendations previously communicated and keep a distance of 1.5 meters at all times when going out for essentials.
We believe this is a time to take good care of yourself, each other, and our communities as a whole. Social distancing is the best preventive measure and as such most effective in preventing an acute peak in corona-patients. The Asser building, therefore, will also be closed until at least 1 June, and our staff will continue to work from home as much as possible. We are all reachable via our work emails and will keep the lines of communications open.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Our team will continuously monitor the situation and will keep this page updated with our latest measures and procedures.
