Profile

Pedro obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Master’s Degree in Legal Practice at the University of Granada (Spain). He then completed his Master’s Degree in Sports Law at University of Lleida (Spain). In both thesis, Pedro analysed the relationship between sport and human rights, more specifically on the protection of athletes' rights and the impact of Artificial Intelligence technologies in sport. In the meantime, Pedro worked as a research fellow at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights. He is currently studying the Erasmus Mundus Master Degree in Sports Ethics and Integrity (KU Leuven et al.). Pedro’s primary interests lie with the fields of International Human Rights, European Union Law and sport. At the Asser Institute, Pedro will assist Dr Daniela Heerdt and Dr Antoine Duval within the Asser International Sports Law Centre.
