About the Hub
The Knowledge Hub on International Criminal Law for the Ukrainian Judiciary is established to promote consistency in the application of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Criminal Law (ICL) by Ukrainian courts, enhancing the fairness and credibility of trials of international crimes in Ukraine. It is a joint initiative by the Asser Institute, the EUAM, and members of the Ukrainian judiciary.
The Hub consists of:
- Public Portal: Open access to authoritative sources on IHL, ICL, and human rights law, including case law with commentary and practical manuals for legal practitioners.
- Expert Support: members of the Ukrainian judiciary can submit requests for legal information and reference materials. Our expert team will review these requests to identify common needs and develop general reference materials that benefit the broader judicial community.
- [FORTHCOMING] Registered Members Area: All Ukrainian judicial personnel are invited to register for access to a secure site containing:
- Recordings of specialised training sessions
- Additional restricted resources
