Profile

Giorgia Gargiulo obtained a Master’s degree in International Communication from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Society from the University of Milan, which included an Erasmus exchange at the University of Düsseldorf. Prior to joining the Asser Institute, she was a trainee at Europol, where she contributed to the organisation of high-level events, stakeholder engagement, and the development of communication strategies. She also gained experience in media relations and external communications at Weber Shandwick, coordinating campaigns for international clients and cultural institutions. Giorgia also completed a research externship with the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy, focusing on community engagement.
