Donika has recently graduated from the Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) College at the University of Amsterdam. As a politics major at PPLE she had the opportunity to engage in discussion and write academic papers on a variety of contemporary global challenges including, inter alia, mass migration, corporate human rights obligations, and the limits of international law in the face of new security threats. Before commencing her studies in Amsterdam, Donika interned at the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in her hometown Pristina (Kosovo). At KCSF, she assisted the Research unit in producing the annual Civil Society Index, a report which analyses the current state of this sector and based on the findings, aims to initiate concrete actions for advancing civil society in Kosovo.

At the Asser Institute, Donika is an intern in Communications & PR. Upon completing her internship, she intends to apply for the master programme 'Global Affairs and Journalism' at Sciences Po university in Paris.
