The Asser Institute, a renowned research centre for international and European law, offers two distinguished conference rooms/event spaces to host your most impactful events.

From high-level press conferences to engaging luncheons, compelling film screenings, and transformative training programmes, our fully-equipped spaces will be the perfect backdrop to your event.

We house a large, fully equipped modern auditorium (capacity of up to 100 delegates). In addition, other smaller meeting rooms of varying sizes are also available for rental. Each location is ideally suited for training courses, conferences, meetings or private gatherings. Interpreter booths can be arranged on request.

The Mandela

Named after Nelson Mandela (1918 - 2013), a lawyer, peacemaker, and icon for equality, this room serves as a space where lawyers, scholars, and policymakers engage in critical talks shaping global peace and justice.

The Maccini

Named after the Italian minister of Justice, and later the president of the Institute of International Law, Pasquale Stanislao Mancini (1817 - 1888), the Mancini Room is more than just a meeting space.
