Outputs & Results

The outputs of the Project included National Reports, a collection of Research Papers on selected issues and current developments, backed by an online database of case law, all to be published on this website.

After the completion of the Project, a Handbook on the Interpretation and Application of the Regulation is available as an electronic publication and in hard copy.

Results of the Project provided recommendations on how to achieve a greater consistency among various instruments in order to enhance legal certainty, predictability and access to justice in cross-border legal transactions.

In addition to comparative and analytical research, the project has developed a Moot Court Competition for students to educate a new generation of practitioners dealing with EU private international law practices. At the end of the project, a conference was organized, to promote knowledge sharing amongst academic, legal practitioners and legislators.
