International Civil Procedure and Brussels Ibis

The main theme will be international civil procedure, with an emphasis on the new Brussels Ibis Regulation that will soon enter into force. Recent developments in international civil procedure and specific features of the Brussels Ibis Regulation will be discussed. In the first part of the symposium, four speakers will touch on developments in international civil procedure in general. During the second part of the symposium specific jurisdiction issues that arise in relation to forum selection clauses will be analysed. The last part will deal with issues concerning enforcement of court decisions.
