ICL-TCL Training Course 2024

The T.M.C. Asser Instituut will be organising 2 trainings entitled 'Training on international and transnational criminal law for prosecutors and judges' in 2024. 

• The French training offers a high-quality training on the prosecution and adjudication of international and transnational crimes to strengthen domestic capacity to prosecute international and transnational crimes in Africa.
  
  
• The Spanish training offers a high-quality training on the prosecution and adjudication of international and transnational crimes to strengthen domestic capacity to prosecute international and transnational crimes in South-America.

The training courses will offer a high-quality training on the prosecution and adjudication of international and transnational crimes. It delved into many relevant topics of international criminal law, such as the challenges to the domestic prosecutions of international crimes, the right of the defence or the cooperation with the International Criminal Court.

The training courses will feature a number of top speakers coming from international courts and tribunals and several academic and professional institutions and organisations focusing on ICL and TCL.

Unlike the French training course which have proven to be a great success, characterised by many exchanges between the participants and the speakers, as well as among the participants themselves, we will be organising for the first time a fully Spanish course.
