Koko Christiaanse is a cum laude Graduate of MSc Law and Society at Leiden University and the LLM Public International Law at Utrecht University, where she was a research assistant for the Global Justice Investigations Lab. She has an interdisciplinary profile oriented towards furthering global justice, and has accumulated a background in IR, conflict studies, sociology, human rights law, and International Law of the Sea. She has contributed to various academic publications such as the Routledge Handbook for Maritime Crime and Policing.
