Profile

Valeria has graduated from The Hague University of Applied Sciences with a BA in European Studies and a minor in International Law. She has previously studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea and has also completed an internship at a Korean NGO that addresses potential barriers to Korean reunification, works towards improving of the human rights situation in North Korea and provides support to North Korean defectors.

Throughout her studies she has participated in conferences and events as volunteer and assistant. She was a volunteer at the Iberoamerican Instiute of the Hague and was assigned the role of secretary for preliminary audiences of the 5th edition of the Spanish ICC Moot Court Competition and participated in the Iberoamerican Seminar of Justice.

Her interests include International Human Rights Law, Public International Law and International Relations. At the Asser Institute she wishes to acquire further knowledge in the field of International Law and to contribute to the Institute’s mission.
